The new Museum Complex
The construction of the new Museum Complex
was completed in the spring of 2005, with the inauguration of the
new Holocaust History Museum and the other new elements of the complex.
The new Museum Complex comprises:
1. The new Holocaust History
Museum: Three times the size of the current museum, it displays
historical events with the help of photographs, texts, video art and
authentic artifacts. The stories of individuals are brought to life
through display of personal effects and artifacts.
2. The new Hall of
Names, which forms an integral part of the Holocaust History Museum.
3. The new Holocaust Art Museum,
displaying the world’s largest collection of Holocaust art.
4. The Exhibition Pavilion
5. The Learning Center
6. The Visual Center
