The International School for Holocaust Studies

Yad Vashem’s International School for Holocaust Studies was inaugurated in December 1999.  The school is the only one of its kind in the world, with 17 classrooms, a state-of-the-art multimedia center, a resource center, workshop rooms and an auditorium. Its staff of about 100 educators and employees is dedicated to one common goal: the teaching of the Holocaust, so that the events of the Holocaust will be remembered and taught for generations to come.
The International School is currently the largest school for the teaching of the Holocaust in the world – about 100,000 students and 50,000 soldiers visit there annually, and it serves as a world center for the training of thousands of educators to teach about the Holocaust.
The School also develops educational programs, teaching aids and up-to-date educational materials, including multimedia programs. For further information click here
