Recent Visits

On May 13th 2008, Mr. & Mrs. Giuseppe and Marisa Di Porto, and their families from Israel and Italy visited Yad Vashem. The Di Porto family has generously supported the exhibition: “My Homeland - Holocaust Survivors in Israel”.

On April 8th 2008, Marc Rich, Chairman of the Rich Foundation for Education, Culture and Welfare, and the Director of the Foundation, Avner Azulay visited Yad Vashem, accompanied by Dr. Klaus Jacobs, Honorary Chairman of the Jacobs Foundation, Professor Joachim Treusch, President of the Bremen University in Germany and other guests. The Rich Foundation generously supports Yad Vashem’s activities.

On March 26th 2008, Chairman Geoffrey Goldkorn, trustees of The Kennedy Leigh Charitable Trust, UK and their families took part in an unveiling ceremony honoring the Trust’s generous support of the educational activities held by Yad Vashem’s International School for Holocaust Studies.
