"Every time that my feet touch the land of Israel and lead me to Yad Vashem, the faces of my dear ones and my friends - which constantly haunt me - burst out in front of my eyes. I am deeply moved today, especially as we have come, on the occasion of Yad Vashem's 50th anniversary, from the four corners of the earth in order to express our commitment to the memory of the six million murdered Jews."
