RECENT VISITS TO YAD VASHEM

During his visit to Yad Vashem on
28 September, Ukrainian Prime
Minister Viktor Yanukovych (right) was given a
tour of the Historical Museum (pictured with Mark Shraberman,
Documentation Registrar in the Archives Division).

On 15 July, Cameron Kerry
(center)—brother of Democratic US presidential candidate
Senator John Kerry—and his wife Kathy Weinman searched
the Central Database of Shoah Victims’ Names with
Director of the Hall of Names Alexander Avraham (right), and
found information on his great aunt and uncle who were
murdered in the Holocaust. Kerry also visited the archives
where he was shown original documents relating to his family’s
fate. |

including the Children’s Memorial, accompanied by Editor of

wreath in the Hall of Remembrance. |
