(April 29, 2008 - Jerusalem) The central theme for this year’s Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day is Holocaust Survivors in Israel - 60 Years Since the Establishment of the State. The
Official Opening Ceremony for Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’
Remembrance Day will take place on Wednesday, April 30, 2008
at 20:00, at Warsaw Ghetto Square, Yad Vashem, Mount of
Remembrance, Jerusalem. Yad Vashem will be closed to the
public as of 12 noon on April 30. It will re-open Thursday,
May 1, at 8:00.
