Behind the French
prosecutor are the French prosecution table (right), and the Soviet
Prosecution table (center). Behind the tables are journalists, and
seated behind them the V.I.P Gallery. Although France did not fight
Germany as a state for most of the war, and some of the time even
collaborated with the Germans, during the trials the French received
an equal standing to the three other Allies – the USA, the USSR and
Great Britain. |
