The International School for Holocaust Studies

The International School for Holocaust Studies has 17 classrooms, a modern multimedia center, resource and pedagogical center, workshop rooms, an auditorium, and a staff of 100 educators, all with the single aim of Holocaust education.

The school was established thanks to the support of the Israeli Ministry of Education, and generous contributions by major donor Jack H. (Shaya) and Mrs. Marilyn Pechter and family, and donors Leslie L. Dan and family, Jaime Constantiner and family, Maxi Librati, the Jacob and Hilda Blaustein Foundation, Inc., Nehama (Sodovski) and Matityahu Zukerman, and the late Sonia Badler.

David Guggenheim, the late Alex Bloch and Daniel Mintz from Guggenheim Bloch Architects and Urbanists made up the architectural team responsible for designing the new International School for Holocaust Studies building. Carmela Carmi was Architect in charge of Interior design, Dorit Harel designed all the signposts, and Dan Tzur was Landscape Architect.
